Seem very strong

When trying to attach things to plaster board walls it can be a nightmare, i have used many different fixings over the years which arent that great and for heavier items are useless. I was pleasantly surprised with theses. They are fairly easy to install, you have to drill a slighty bigger hole than usual, as long as the plaster board is ok then these hold a lot of weight! it says they would hold kitchen cupboards or radiators with a man sat on it! I would tend to believe it if used correctly after giving these a go, but i would still have it in the back of my head some worry due to other products i have used for heavy items in the past. Hopefully this is the solution to all our worries for heavy items being fixed to plaster board!

Really strong wall fixing need brackets, but they need a 20mm hole in your plasterboard

This is a really good starter set for someone to hang heavy items onto a plasterboard wall. It's a bit disconcerting at first, just seeing the size of hole that you have to drill in the plasterboard in order to accommodate the fixing, but once you get past that mental block, then they are absolutely superb. There's lots of videos online about how to patch plasterboard if you decide that the fixing is in the wrong place, but I would strongly suggest that you are REALLLY sure that where you are going to fix the item to the wall is where you actually want it! Highly recommend for anyone looking to fix heavy items to plasterboard walls (mirrors, shelves, and so on)

good wall fixings starter set

I was a little apprehensive about these wall fixings because I had not had much luck with plastic ones in large wall holes, but these are pretty good and really surprised me. You get the right sized drill bit to make the hole, its a 20mm hole so need to make sure whatever you are putting up covers this size of hole, then you put the plug surround in and finally the expanding screw fixing. The instructions thankfully are clear because out of the packet I was a tad confused but first one went in fine and I got a good fixing with the screw tightened very well. You do need to make sure the wall has enough space behind it to expand the fixing so not near any beams etc. Overall, they work better than expected and are good for medium to heavy fixings.

The bigger Bullfix for stud walls

There are different Bullfix fixings depending on the type of wall youre planning to attach things to. This set is for stud walls and although it keeps the excellent Bullfix shape it has bigger, longer arms so that the load is spread over a larger area. Ive also used the smaller type which can cope with shallower gaps behind the plaster such as with dot & dab walls. I like that they are simple to use, and give very strong results; Ive used them to re-do the job properly when having to replace what Id originally used as heavy-duty fixings. I like that the pack comes with the right size of blade drill, and the instructions were easy to follow. I have no qualms in recommending them.
